This lot first held a general merchandise store. In 1920, the Jackson Restaurant, later called Lunn Restaurant, occupied the lot as part of the Beasley and Allen Building. After a fire in 1930, A.C. Bishop constructed the current building. Early occupants included Lambert's Electric shop. Leach's Jewelry moved here from North Central Avenue in 1956, and June's Fashion occupied part of the store. Donna's Fashion and Moore's Jewelry moved here in 1978. James Tucker bought the building in 1990 and opened State Farm Insurance, which remained until 1997. Floral Gallery operated here from 1999 to 2006. Armstrong Pies followed, and Centerville Donuts occupied the space until 2016. The Hickman County Historical Society moved into the building in 2018.
