The Pellerin-Chauffe House is a Queen Anne Revival cottage built in 1896 by Edmond Pellerin. Carpenter Emile Bergeron built the entire house of local cypress, and it remains the finest example of rural farm life in Breaux Bridge at the end of the 19th century. The house is the first original Breaux Bridge home on the National Register of Historic Places.
