Lake Thibadeau National Wildlife Refuge is a 3,868-acre refuge in northern Montana, about 15 miles northeast of Havre. Part of the Bowdoin Wetland Management District and managed from Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge, it protects a landscape of grassland, marshes, and cropland. Nearly all of the refuge remains in private ownership because it is an easement refuge, giving it a mixed character shaped by both working land and wetlands.
