Established in 1908, this Catholic church first held services and masses in the Mary's Creek schoolhouse or in the home of Matt Marak. Its first church building was erected in 1909, with John Cocek, Matt Marak, Leopold Skrehot, and Alois Sykora serving as trustees. Father Paul Mosler became the first pastor in 1910, and a brick church was built in 1936.
