Fall River State Park in Greenwood County, Kansas, southwest of Toronto near the Flint Hills, spans 980 acres and is accessed by Highway 105. Named for the nearby 2,450-acre Fall River, the park is organized around outdoor recreation on and around the reservoir and surrounding hills. Visitors come for camping, hiking, picnicking, swimming, boating, and water skiing. Its trail system features six named routes—Casner Creek, Turkey Run, Post Oak, Overlook, Bluestem, and Catclaw—providing a range of shorter hikes through the varied landscape.
