Moore Farms Botanical Garden is a 65-acre garden in Lake City, South Carolina, founded in 2002 by Darla Moore on her family’s farm. Set within the Pee Dee’s working agricultural landscape, it blends designed gardens with open fields and emphasizes plants of South Carolina and the Southeast, including native flora, southern heritage plants, magnolias, and cypress collections. A former fire lookout tower moved to the site in 2004 and the Firetower Center completed in 2007 are defining features. The garden also serves research, education, and outreach through plant records, herbarium vouchers, onsite production, a green roof, and a living wall.
