Hawkins Hill is a mountain in Central New York, located in the Town of Hartwick east-northeast of Hartwick in Otsego County. Beyond its local topographic importance as a named elevation, it also had a practical regional role. In 2012, the hill was noted as the site of a communications tower that formed part of the Broome County Public Safety Communications System. Its significance therefore lies both in geography and in infrastructure, as a hill that serves as both a recognized landscape feature and a location used for regional communications.
