Rambler Ranch in Elizabeth, Colorado, grew from the restoration of a 1954 Nash Ambassador into a major automobile museum centered on American Motors Corporation, Rambler, and Nash. Beginning in 1977 with owner Testy Gale’s family car, the collection expanded from a few dozen vehicles to hundreds across a large campus with multiple buildings. Beyond AMC automobiles, it includes trucks, prototypes, race cars, memorabilia, antique appliances, vintage clothing, a Sinclair gas station, a recreated 1960s diner, and period interiors that evoke American consumer and car culture. It has become a notably comprehensive preservation of an often-overlooked motoring era.
