League Stadium was established in 1894 and is identified here as the oldest active baseball stadium in the United States. The site includes a wooden grandstand, bleachers, and a baseball field. The stadium is associated with the Rockford Peaches through the film A League of Their Own. It served as the Peaches' home field in that movie, and scenes for A League of Their Own were filmed here in 1991. Soul of the Game was also filmed here in 1995.
