The red-brick Dutch Reformed Church, now simply the Reformed Church, was built in 1850 and is the oldest surviving non-domestic building in the village. Its design was based on sketches by A.J. Davis, architect of Lyndhust in Tarrytown. The complex also includes a mansard-roofed manse, perhaps built from locally quarried stone, and an 1869 granite chapel. The church's original façade was altered after this 1920s postcard was printed.
