The park honors veterans by naming those remembered from World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Those named are Lester J. Lurvey and Ralph W. Reynolds from World War I; Leslie D. Wright, Julian G. Smith, Donald F. Graves, Joseph P. Chase Jr., Francis G. Kelley, Kenneth F. Grindle, and George M. Chilles from World War II; Robert H. Parker from the Korean War; and Joseph T. Musetti Jr. from the Vietnam War. Musetti served in the U.S. Navy, received the River Patrol Boat Combat Command Insignia, and was killed in action on September 28, 1969, in the Republic of Vietnam. It stands in memory of all veterans.
