Elijah Bristow State Park is an 847-acre Oregon park on the Middle Fork Willamette River below Dexter Reservoir, made up of ponds, meadows, wetlands, and mixed forest. Originally called Dexter State Park, it was renamed in 1979 for Elijah Bristow, an early Lane County pioneer and founder of nearby Pleasant Hill. More than 10 miles of trails serve hikers, horse riders, and mountain bikers, with equestrian facilities helping make it a popular riding destination. The park also has ecological importance, supporting salmon, steelhead, and notable birdlife, while species recorded there include the threatened western pond turtle and the Oregon chub.
