F. Brown Gregg served as a captain in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and flew as a pilot in the 9th Air Force, 387 Bomb Group and 558 Bomb Squadron. He was awarded the Silver Star and the Air Medal with 6 Oak Leaf Clusters for completing 37 successful missions over Nazi Germany. He was proudly honored by The Gregg Strimentos Foundation and The Juanita Gregg Foundation.
