At the Church at the Mouth of the Juniata, the forerunner of the Duncannon Presbyterian Church, the first Sunday School in Perry County was organized in 1821 and has had practically a continual existence since that time. Rev. James Brady served as the first pastor of this historic church from 1803 until his death in 1821, after which the Sunday School was organized. Brick restoration of Duncannon Presbyterian Church was completed August 26, 1994, through the vision of one and the efforts of many, and was dedicated to the Glory of God.
