Tallahassee–St. Marks Historic Railroad State Trail is a Florida state park occupying sixteen miles of the former Tallahassee Railroad between Tallahassee and St. Marks, with an added paved extension reaching farther into the city and the route ending near the confluence of the St. Marks and Wakulla rivers. It preserves the historic railbed while functioning as a major multiuse recreation corridor for bicycling, skating, walking, jogging, and horseback riding. Linked to nearby parks and trail systems, it has become a regional trail hub. Resurfaced, widened, and improved between late 2009 and early 2011, it took on its present form as both a historic corridor and an important public trail.
