Hayrick Lodge 696, A.F.&A.M., was organized in 1890 at Hayrick, the first county seat of Coke County, and moved to Robert Lee in 1891. This hall was built in 1906 by contractor S.C. Wilkins of concrete blocks mixed and cast by hand. Its first story has housed many businesses and U.S. offices.
