West York Memorial Field honors the unknown veterans of all wars and stands as a tribute by the citizens of Greater West York to the 1057 sons and daughters who answered the call of duty and served in the Armed Forces of the U.S. in World War II. It especially honors those who gave their lives for Democracy, Peace, and Justice.
