Originally built as the First National Bank in 1919 at a cost of $49,000, this two-story building stood on a corner that was the center of activity for San Juan during the 1920s. It also housed the San Juan Telephone Company from 1919 to 1926. Although the original facade is gone, the building still stands as a bank serving San Juan City residents and merchants.
