Company A, 153rd Engineer Battalion served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II from 07 December 2003 to 01 March 2005 under Commander CPT Gregory R. Darlow, First Sergeant 1SG John L. Noyes, and Executive Officer 1LT Steven S. Polzen. The unit roster included Headquarters Platoon, Maintenance Section, Assault and Obstacle Platoon, 1st Platoon, and 2nd Platoon. Among those listed are Sgt. Dennis B. Morgan, born Jan. 8, 1982, died Apr. 17, 2004, and SSG Cory W. Brooks, born Mar. 26, 1972, died Apr. 24, 2004, along with the many men and women of Company A who served during this deployment.
