The Empire State Railway Museum in Phoenicia, New York, is a nonprofit museum based in the historic 1899 Phoenicia station of the Ulster and Delaware Railroad, one of the few surviving stations from that line and one of only two still in its original location. Founded in 1960 by railroad enthusiasts from the New York metropolitan area, the organization evolved from excursion and preservation efforts in Middletown before establishing itself in Phoenicia in the 1980s, when the station was acquired and restored. It has presented seasonal exhibits on Catskill railroads, preserved historic equipment, published a nationally known steam railroad directory, and remained a longstanding part of New York railroad preservation.
