Little Beaver State Park near Beckley, West Virginia, is a small recreation area centered on eighteen-acre Little Beaver Lake, with day-use facilities, trails, fishing, boating, and camping. Its most notable historic feature is Little Beaver Dam near Crow, a federally supported New Deal project built between 1938 and 1942 by the Works Progress Administration and the Civilian Conservation Corps. The sandstone-faced dam, four hundred feet long and twenty-nine feet high, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. Originally developed for day use, the park expanded in 2011 with a forty-six-site campground, and an accessibility assessment in 2005 found it accessible.
