Sgt. Claude Reedy of New Market, VA, died in a POW camp in Korea in Jan. 1951, and Pvt. James "Pete" McKenzie of Quicksburg, VA, was killed in action in Korea in Sept. 1950. Grandmother Naomi Kibler and the children Kay Kibler, Lyndon, Wayne, Diane Tinnell, and Lewis Saylor were honored for their love of history and the New Market Battlefield.
