Huntersfield Mountain is a peak in New York’s Catskill Mountains, north-northwest of Ashland, with Ashland Pinnacle nearby to the east and Tower Mountain to the south-southeast. It is the highest point in Schoharie County and ranks ninth among New York’s sixty-two county high points. That distinction gives it importance both within the surrounding Catskill landscape and among people interested in reaching each county’s highest summit across the state.
