Sunset Hill is a mountain in New York’s Central New York region, in the towns of Richfield and Warren just north of Richfield Springs. It was once known as Abbott’s Hill because Aaron Abbott’s home stood there, and it was also called Butternut Hill for the large butternut trees that formerly grew on the site.
