Muskego’s only town hall was built in 1921 for community purposes. From 1842, town meetings and elections were held in homes, school houses, and saloons. The building also hosted farm and Legion meetings, socials, Sunday school, library activities, graduations, first aid and cooking classes, anniversaries, and a funeral. It served as interim City Hall from 1964 to 1972 and was restored by the Muskego Fine Arts Association in 1976.
