McCullough's Tavern

On October 12, 1794, President George Washington is said to have taken breakfast here while passing through the area to suppress the Whiskey Rebellion. The tavern, dating to about the 1700s, was owned by Robert McCullough and was also known as The Mansion House. It is one of the oldest log structures in Greencastle, and part of the original building may be viewed through this opening.
