Jackson County honored its war dead by dedicating a World War II honor roll to the enduring memory of the county’s men who gave their lives so that freedom might live, grow, and increase its blessings, naming Algie T. Arneson, Gordon S. Bornitz, George A. Breheim, Sidney C. Brown, Harry Carson, Kenneth M. Dell, Harold L. Dobson, Lyle A. Eddy, Harold C. Erickson, Stanley C. Faldet, Edward J. Fencil, Rodney V. Fleming, Harvey Greencrow, Thomas A. Hagen, Everett R. Hanson, George Haralson, Thomas M. Harrison, Wilbur Hartwig, Wendell T. Helwig, Donald H. Hopkins, Floyd N. Hortum, Loren E. Horvarth, Price Hostrawser, Lester R. Hullett, Leonard Johnson, Thomas A. Johnson, Percy R. Kampen, Clinton P. Koloski, Leo Jr. Krpata, Virgil H. Leighton, Neil S. Lewison, Arthur J. Lien, Felix P.
