Tuttle Educational State Forest is a 288-acre protected area near Lenoir, North Carolina, managed as a North Carolina State Forest for both education and conservation. It was established in part through a 1956 land donation by American missionary educator Lelia Judson Tuttle, whose gift of the first 168 acres formed the foundation of the present forest. The tract later expanded to its current size. Today it is part of a broader landscape of public lands in the region, with Grandfather Mountain, Lake James, Rendezvous Mountain, and South Mountains all located within about 30 miles.
