Finnerud Forest Scientific Area is a three hundred-acre protected forest in Oneida County, Wisconsin, owned by the University of Wisconsin–Madison. It is significant as one of the few sizable places in the Great Lakes region where red pine trees about one hundred years old remain. Its importance received formal recognition through designation as a Wisconsin State Natural Area in 1958 and later as a National Natural Landmark in 1973.
