Constructed in 1915 in conjunction with the Towne Theatre, this building served as the center for recreation in Fillmore. Its first floor included a one-lane bowling alley, four pool tables, and a soda fountain. Its second floor once served as a dance hall for local residents, but after being damaged in the 1971 earthquake it had to be removed. The hardwood tongue-and-groove flooring is still in place, and the building still retains the copper ceiling installed when it was initially constructed.
