South San Francisco General Hospital stood on this site in 1908, 1918, and 1984. Dr. Plymire had his office in his home here, and it was later moved across the street. In 1918 Dr. Dolley built a hospital on the site. In 1925 it was bought by Dr. E. Bartlett and Dr. Lassard. The hospital handled many emergency cases of industrial injuries and highway accidents. After Dr. Lassard's death, Dr. Musselman and Dr. Oliva became partners. They sold the hospital to Kaiser Permanente in 1953.
