In 1926, on the grounds of Tate Springs Country Club, legendary golfer Bobby Jones stood before a tee shot on the Tate Springs Course designed by Donald Ross. Jones, one of the greatest golfers to compete on a national and international level, also appeared with a foursome at old Tate Springs.
