Stimson House was the home of Gen. Earl Stimson, 1776-1847. It was regarded as the best managed farm in Saratoga County. Stimson served as paymaster of the 24th Regiment, 9th Brigade, in 11/1811 and was promoted to Major General on 5/29/1837.
