The Tennessee Agricultural Museum at the Ellington Agricultural Center in Brentwood preserves and presents the state’s rural and farming heritage. Located within one of Tennessee’s main agricultural campuses, it is closely connected to the working history and public memory of farming in the state. It is also known for organizing the Annual Rural Life Festival, which carries that mission into public life by presenting agricultural traditions as a living part of Tennessee culture rather than only as a static exhibit.
