The Church of the Epiphany was organized on June 6, 1870, by Bishop Gregg. It is the oldest church edifice erected in Calvert and has been used continuously since the parish was founded. Fine wood scrollwork and lancet windows complement the Victorian architecture. It was designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1967.
