Church Hill Road Covered Bridge in Columbiana County, Ohio, was built in 1870 to cross the Middle Fork of Little Beaver Creek in Elk Township and was relocated in 1982 to Elkton, behind a restaurant on Ohio State Route 154 that has since closed. Measuring just 19 feet 3 inches, it is among the shortest covered bridges ever used for a public highway in the United States. Its two-panel, single-kingpost truss reflects a simple, economical design for short spans. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in June 1975, it holds an important place among Ohio’s surviving covered bridges.
