Inwood School was built in the summer of 1905 as a one-room school with one teacher instructing students from first grade through the eighth grade. The school stood vacant for a few years while a new building was constructed at Black Butte Road. In 1958, the building was occupied and called the Church of the Wildwood. Later, after it became vacant again, Greg and Karen Jones purchased it in 1992. Greg had it moved from Black Butte Road to Inwood, to its present location at 28888 Inwood Road, and it is now used as their living quarters.
