In 1973, Joe Martin, Jr. set out to make his dream of training individuals for industry a reality. Recognizing a need for qualified instrumentation technicians, he began building what evolved into ITI Technical College. Starting humbly, he served as founder, administrator, only instructor, and the person responsible for admissions and job placement, beginning with twelve students in a 5,000 square foot facility. His leadership, dedication, and Christian work ethic enabled ITI to grow into an advanced educational resource that supplies qualified professionals for business and industry worldwide, while his original vision of giving students a skill that will last a lifetime lives on in the success of ITI graduates as they attain a better life.
