Dallas Quasula Sr., a member of the Hualapai tribe, was a tribal councilman and elder, a highly regarded citizen of the county, and a graduate of Seligman High School. He served honorably in the United States Army and worked as a cattle wrangler, heavy equipment operator, surveyor, corrections officer, and cultural resources protection officer. From 1988 until his walking on in 2010, he served on the Route 66 Association Board as a representative of Peach Springs and the Hualapai Tribe. In 1990, he started the Hualapai Nation Fun Run Pit BBQ event, and every year since 1990, he, along with his family and other volunteers, served his famous Pit BBQ Beef and Hualapai Tacos to many visitors who stopped during the Annual Fun Run each May. He also served more than 35 years on the Hualapai Tribal Council, proudly representing the Hualapai people and their lands. In 2006, he was inducted into the Historic Route 66 Association's Wall of Fame.
