Amelia Island Wildlife Management Area is a 238-acre protected tract in the Yellowstone River in Treasure County, Montana, managed by the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks. Used primarily in tandem with the nearby Amelia Island Fishing Access, it preserves habitat typical of a river island setting. The area supports a variety of wildlife, including birds such as great blue herons, red-tailed hawks, hairy woodpeckers, and western wood pewees. Other animals observed there include white-tailed deer, meadow voles, eastern fox squirrels, and Woodhouse's toads, making it an important refuge for native river island species.
