The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame is a western history museum in Fort Worth’s Stockyards National Historic District that celebrates excellence in rodeo and the wider western lifestyle in Texas. Established in 1997 and moved in 2001 to Historic Barn A, it broadened from honoring outstanding horsemen and horsewomen to recognizing many roles in rodeo and western life. More than 125 inductees are represented through personal memorabilia, alongside exhibits on trails, wagons, horse bits, and ranching culture. Its home, a rebuilt Stockyards barn completed in 1912 after a 1911 fire, preserves original architectural features and ties the museum directly to Fort Worth’s livestock heritage.
