Ibex Peak is a mountain in western Arizona and one of the high points of the northern Plomosa Mountains. Rising to 2,824 feet near the Colorado River, it stands in a desert landscape where the range runs north to south along the east side of La Posa Plain, which parallels the river and Parker Valley. Its significance lies chiefly in this setting: the peak forms part of a long, linear mountain system beside a similarly north-south plain, highlighting the strong directional pattern of the surrounding terrain. Though not especially tall, it is a prominent summit in this part of the Plomosa Mountains.
