Briery Creek Wildlife Management Area is a 3,164-acre protected landscape in Prince Edward County, Virginia, centered on 845-acre Briery Creek Lake, a reservoir formed by damming Briery Creek and Little Briery Creek. Its open water, rolling uplands, hardwood forest, and loblolly pine reflect land once used for tobacco farming and later timber production. Owned and maintained by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, the area is managed for both wildlife and public recreation. It offers hunting and trapping for species such as deer, turkey, quail, rabbits, and waterfowl, along with fishing, boating, hiking, horseback riding, and primitive camping.
