Members of St. Jude's Episcopal Church Congregation erected this building. The first Episcopal services in Henderson were held on February 26, 1856. Bishop Whipple consecrated the building on July 31, 1873. In 1965, the property was conveyed to the city of Henderson for use as the Henderson public library.
