Wolf Creek Inn State Heritage Site in Oregon is a historic hotel built in 1883 along the Applegate Trail for entrepreneur Henry Smith. Part of the state park system and administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, it is recognized as the oldest continuously operating inn in the Pacific Northwest, preserving both its building and its original role as a hostelry. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972 as Wolf Creek Tavern and acquired by the state parks department in 1975, it also became known through Jack London and later famous guests from early Hollywood. The inn and tavern restaurant still operate today.
