The Quinault Cultural Center and Museum in Taholah, Washington, is owned and funded by the Quinault Indian Nation and preserves Quinault artifacts, arts, and crafts with a strong focus on the nation’s traditions and history. Housed in a converted retail building, it reflects both cultural continuity and adaptation, including artworks with Polynesian-influenced motifs linked to ideas brought home by World War II veterans. It has also functioned as an active cultural center, receiving a 2012 grant to research ethnobotanical heritage, publish a guidebook, and create a mobile exhibit, and hosting paddle- and drum-making workshops during the 2013 Tribal Canoe Journeys.
