Bayonne Truck House No. 1 is a historic former firehouse in Bayonne, New Jersey, built in 1875 for Bayonne Hook and Ladder Company No. 1. The original station building preserves part of the city’s early firefighting history and later became known as the Chief John T. Brennan Fire Museum or John T. Brennan Fire Museum. Its significance was formally recognized when it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 2, 1976. As a museum, the old truck house connects Bayonne’s nineteenth-century municipal past with a present-day public history role.
