In 1925, Community Co-op Oil Association was started by a group of farmers to create buying power for its members. Since then, it has provided products and services to farmers, industry leaders, and everyday people. It started with a small gas station and local office at the corner of Highway 60 and Division Street in Faribault and expanded through the years, purchasing Pirkl Implement as part of that growth. It also sells and delivers bulk fuels including propane and oil. In the late 1990s, the Schreyer Motor Company building was torn down, allowing Community Co-op to expand and include a service center and tire shop.
