Reverend Emil Polášek served God as pastor of the Church of the Holy Redeemer for thirty-two years, from 1905 to 1937, sharing in his congregation's joys, comforting them in their sorrows, and exhorting them by word and by the example of his priestly life to obey the teachings of their savior and Holy Mother Church. He was regarded as a prudent counselor and a public-spirited citizen of Montgomery, and the church organ was dedicated to the Glory of God and to his loving memory.
