Fort Campbell Memorial Park is dedicated to the 248 Fort Campbell soldiers who died on December 12, 1985, at Gander, Newfoundland, while returning from a peacekeeping mission in the Sinai. It also honors all soldiers who serve at Fort Campbell and recognizes the importance of their mission to the community and to the country.
